Autonumis are a manufacturer of chilled drinks dispensers, small pack vending machines and back bar bottle coolers. Their new facility just outside Stroud occupies one of the old aircraft hangars near the Cotswold Gliding Club.  Autonomis and the Gloucestrer based contractor, Hewer FM, decided that for the transportation of gas into and around the factory, they would look at designing and installing a system of mechanically pressed Stainless Steel fittings and tube. They decided on the M-Press system because it would provide an installed warranty of 40 years and a cost effective solution to their design.

The engineers at KGN were keen to use a mechanical press system for their pipework jointing and with our comprehensive offering of Stainless Steel coupled with a 40 year installed warranty our products are now being used on some of these specialist designs.

St John's School is a co-educational independent school in Leather head, Surrey with around 660 pupils aged between 13 and 18. It was founded in 1851 and occupies a very picturesque corner of Leather head. One of the plant rooms at the school was in need of some long overdue upgrading and renewing. Omega Building Services based in Cater-ham-on-the-Hill were tasked with this project. Roger and his team decided that they would use a mechanical press system to complete the works as it's speed of installation would mean that the job could be completed quickly and safely before the beginning of the new school year. The M-Press systems offer a flame free solution to pipe and fittings jointing with no hot works to worry about. Hot works permits can be inconvenient and do not always provide a safe and clean area in which to work.

With the M-Press system of Copper, Omega were able to complete the project to a very high standard that will give St John's a 30 year + installed warranty and many, many years of trouble free service. The installation used M-Press Copper fittings from 35mm to 54mm.

Denmead School is located in Hampton, Greater London. It was originally founded in 1924 and occupied two houses on Wensleydale Road. The project has been to construct a brand new school for pre-prep age groups of 3 to 7 years olds.

Omega Building Services (Caterham-on-the-Hill) decided that for the heating systems and plant room, they would once again use a mechanical press system that would allow their engineers to work safely and quickly installing the tube and fittings. M-Press Carbon Steel has been used in 15mm to 76.1mm for these applications. M-Press Copper has also been installed where potable water applictions were required. The Copper system is fully WRAS approved and has been installed in 15mm to 54mm.

The school is due to open early 2016.

Known locally as 'The Mill', this is one of our first Biomass projects in the South West. M-Press Carbon Steel fittings and tube were chosen for part of the project. The install was completed by Treco, one of the country's leading installers of biomass heating systems. Treco are based in Tiverton, Devon and over the past 10 years have built an impressive portfolio of biomass and district heating installations from small private projects to large commercial jobs.

The Mill is owned by Greenmech Ltd who design and manufacture wood chippers and green waste shredders. M-Press was used in sizes 108mm down to 28mm which provided the Treco engineers with a safe, flame free working environment and a time saving install. This project in a private house in Surrey demonstrates perfectly how M-Press Fittings can be utilised in domestic heating installations. The job was carried out by Steve Sines Plumbing & Heating (Woking). Steve has used M-Press Copper in 15mm, 22mm and 28mm to complete a fantasic looking domestic heating system complete with boiler and storage tank. It shows how clean and professional M-Press Fittings can look while guaranteeing Steve's customer with 30 years +, trouble free service. The Lyceum School is located in Worship Street in the heart of Shoreditch and is a short walk from Liverpool Street Station. It is an independent, co-educational school originally opened in 1997. The Worship Street site is an extension to the existing school and is due to open later in 2019.
